Dear Souder Family,

This gives me pause to remember all of the many memories of growing up with Patrick and Aric on N. High Drive. Pat was always most kind in sharing his skateboard or basketball among other enjoyable times. Thinking of all the Souder family...

I was very shocked when I heard about Pat, I am truly sorry for your loss. I know that God is sufficient in his Grace and Mercy and will see you all through your grieving process. I know it has been a long time in seeing family members, but have many fond memories of all of you since my childhood at Grace in McPherson. I pray that God keeps you strong for each other and shows you how much He loves you. Debbie

I struggle to find words remotely sufficient to express how sorry I am for your loss. I did not know Patrick in his wilder years so I do not have those fond memories of many of his life long friends. As a next door neighbor of Patrick I feel I got to know him quite well though. The Patrick I knew was a fun loving man who was absolutely devoted to his boys. My heart absolutely breaks for the entire family, especially the boys. Caleb and Tristen, know that your dad loves you more than anything and will continue to do so as he looks down on you even today. Boys, I can not answer why he had to leave so soon but to say that God had plans for your Dad that we cannot understand right now. Dad will forever live through you guys and you will see him again someday. For now, will be looking down on you, proud to be your dad, loving you above all and will await the day when he can speak to you again. Know yoy guys are now and will forever be loved, by your family, friends, neighbors, your dad and God. I pray for peace for the family that surpasses all understanding, comfort and rest. Jesus hold these boys in your arms as their abba father as they morn the loss of their earthly father. My heart shatters when I think about the boys but know you will be their to hold them and comfort them. To the rest of the family, please know that Tracy and I are here and willing to help in anyway possible so please do not hesitate to call on us for anything. We are so so sorry for your loss!

To all that loved Pat, I have not seen Pat in about 15 yers but the memories I hold are very clear and unfortgetable. We had so many good times, especially at middle school dances. Pat smiled bigger and lauder then anyone and his smile and his love for his family and friends will forever be missed. I hope the family finds comfort in knowing that Pat is loved and cherrished by so many people. My thoughts are with you all.

Patrick John, You will be missed more than you can ever think of. We always had such fun and great laughs when our little goup that we called family would get together for backyard fires and swimming. God was in need of another angel and little did he know he was getting such a great man and father! Prayers go out to your family and your boys.

I've known Aric for as long as I can remember now and I never really got to know Pat on the same level but I know that he was truly a great man, father and friend, loved and will be missed by many. My memories go back a long way but I will never forget Pat's smile when I would come to him and talk as if he were Aric as I could never tell them apart "until" Pat would smile or Aric would talk back :) They are both awesome people and my heart goes out to Aric and everyone else who is hurting right now. RIP Pat......your in the arms of the angels now.....say HI to Ben for me will ya?! and help the others watch over us all.........

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family as they have lost this wonderful man. I have so many memories of you Pat I can't express them all. I remember the first time I met you, when you worked at Mcpherson College in the caf. It was the first day of classes and I didn't know who you were but you looked right at me as I was getting my food for lunch and told me that I belonged in the kitchen. At first I didn't know what to take of it, but then you smiled and as time went on I got to know you more and more. I not only got the pleasure of working with you at the college but also at applebees. Which is a whole other story. I remember the first time I met your twin Arik. He was sitting at the same high top table that you always do when you came in on your days off and of course he was in my section, you were in the kitchen cooking (and I knew this of course) but out of instinct I went to greet him at the table and looked at him and said "Hey Pat whats up?" then it clicked in my head wait your in the kitchen. Your brother looked at me, smiled, and said actually i'm Arik his twin but could you call him out of the kitchen I need to tell him something. I was so embarrassed. Pat you will truely be missed and loved. My heart goes out to Tristin and Caleb. Boys this is a hard time, but you have so many people around you that are here for you and love and support you. I am so sorry for your loss as it has devistated many people. Your dad was and always will be a great man. He now looks down upon you from heaven and smiles as he knows you are still in great hands. We love you and hope your hearts come to an ease as you try to move forward in life.

With all my love,
Allison

My memory that sticks out the most with Pat, is the first time my son Chase met him. Chase "thought" he was talking to Aric, of course Pat knew and was playing along. Then Aric walked up. Chase was looking at the both of you in utter shock. He was frozen in his shoes for awhile, we were all laughing so hard. RIP Pat, we are blessed to have known you. The Garibaldi's

Dear Doc, Susan and Family,
Our hearts ache for you and your family. I remember when we first met Pat, so many years ago, back when he was in grade school . When he and Aric first started coming over they were not allowed to take off their ball caps until we learned to tell them apart. it didn't take long. I will always remember all the good times my kids got to share with Pat, Aric and Kelli at church camp. Throughout all of the years, no matter how long in between the times I saw Pat, he always had a big smile and then a huge hug for me. I will always be thankful I had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed by many. You are all in our prayers.
With much love,
