James W. Janusz, 64, of McPherson, passed away Friday, January 18, at his home in McPherson. He was a materials handler at Viega in McPherson.
He was born May 24, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Walter J. and Doris M. (Hayden) Janusz. He had been a McPherson resident since 1998, formerly of Mesa, Arizona.

On December 31, 1997, he married June M. Galarneau in Mesa, Arizona.

Survivors include: his wife, June of the home; a son, James G. Janusz of McPherson, KS; a daughter, Tonya J. Janusz of Mesa, AZ; a step-son, William Rafiner of Jones, OK; two step-daughters, Michelle Payton of Kearny, AZ and Angie LaRose of St. Johns, AZ; three brothers, Joe, Kenny, and Larry Janusz, all of Arizona; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 24, 2013, at Jerry Ivey Park in Salina.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
