Leonard Frank Eck, 82, of McPherson, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at his home, McPherson. He was the owner & operator of Ecktronics, Inc. and also was one of the founders of Kansas Jack.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 10, 2010, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Keil officiating. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Church Cemetery. Following the burial, a reception will be held at New Hope Evangelical Church. Visitation is from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Sunday, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with the family present from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Survivors include: wife, Gwen of the home; sons, Joe Eck of Emporia, KS and George Eck (Ramona) of McPherson, KS; brothers, Vern Eck (Jean) of London Ontario, Canada and Larry Eck (Patricia) of Wichita, KS. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Jon Eck, parents, Frank Joseph and Minnie M. (Unruh) Eck, and a sister, Delores Nichol.

Memorial donations may be given to Gideons International in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
