Marie D. Sellberg, 78, of McPherson, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2004, in an automobile accident near Wichita. She was formerly the Executive Director of Cooperative Education at Wichita State University and most recently had been working part-time at the university in the Registrars office.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 31, at the McPherson Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Stockham Family Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Survivors include: her husband, Marvin of the home; a son, Dr. Martin Sellberg of Wichita; two daughters, Marcia Meyer of Paradise Valley, AZ and Marlene Waltz of Kansas City, MO; her mother, Rose Scittine of Spring Arbor, MI; a brother, Andrew Scittine of Broadview, IL; three sisters, Rose Meads of Spring Arbor, MI, Dorothy Storey of Muskegon, MI, Patricia Burbridge of Spring Arbor, MI, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vincent.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Central Christian College of Kansas in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home.
